L’Agence Grand Ouest de Genersys relève les défis d’efficacité énergétique des ETI des Pays de Loire et de Bretagne ! #2

To strengthen its national network, Genersys – part of the E'nergys Group – has appointed RC3I as its new Grand Ouest agency, specializing in Building Management Systems (BMS). It offers small and medium-sized businesses in the Pays de la Loire and Brittany regions a dedicated local BMS partner who’s deeply rooted in the area to help optimize the energy performance of their industrial and commercial buildings. This is key to controlling operating costs and ensuring compliance with the new BACS and Éco Énergie Tertiaire regulations.
Benfeld and Angers, May 23, 2023 — As the E’nergys Group’s specialist in smart building and energy management, Genersys is poised to become a leading player in France’s commercial building management market by 2025, propelled by the implementation of the new BACS and Éco Énergie Tertiaire regulations. To achieve this, RC3I – located on the outskirts of Angers and part of the E’nergys Group since 2016 – has become Genersys’ new Grand Ouest branch. Its mission is to address the energy transition challenges of service-sector buildings, from offices to warehouses and retail spaces, for mid-sized companies across the Pays de la Loire and Brittany regions.” With 12 years of experience in industrial automation, RC3I has expanded its expertise to offer new turnkey BMS solutions tailored to local SMEs. These solutions support regulatory compliance and deliver significant energy savings for commercial and industrial buildings. Louis Steyert, Managing Director of Genersys adds: “Recognized as a reference in Building Management Systems across eastern France, Genersys aims to consolidate its national network in the most dynamic regions, such as the west of France, renowned for its entrepreneurial fabric and its taste for innovation, by building on existing companies. With deep regional roots and expertise in automation, RC3I is ideally positioned to become our agency and the bridgehead for our commercial BMS offering in the Pays de Loire and Brittany regions.”
A new “Grand Ouest” branch to meet the energy challenges of local SMEs!
To achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, France has introduced a robust regulatory framework encouraging all professionals, from large corporations to SMEs and SMIs, to reduce energy consumption in service-sector buildings, which represent 44% of the nation’s total energy use. Key initiatives include the Éco Énergie Tertiaire scheme and the BACS decree. One of these schemes sets targets for reducing energy consumption by 2030, 2040 and 2050, while the other requires the installation of an automation and control system by 2025. As the tool for controlling energy-intensive equipment par excellence, a BMS is key to acting on the 3 main sources of energy savings – heating, lighting and ventilation/air conditioning – and plays a central role in meeting the obligations generated by these decrees. In Pays de la Loire, a hub for mid-sized enterprises, and Brittany, a region known for innovation, numerous energy transition initiatives are underway, particularly focused on improving the energy efficiency of industrial and tertiary buildings.
In response to the growing awareness of energy issues among local SMEs, RC3I, now Genersys’ Grand Ouest agency, provides tailored, local support and turnkey BMS solutions. From PLC integration to financing, these solutions help overcome the challenges of decarbonizing both industrial and tertiary buildings. Leveraging its extensive experience and expertise in industrial automation system integration with references from clients such as ISOVER, Constellium, Michelin, and Nof-feed, RC3I, with the backing of Genersys, is fully equipped to deploy BMS solutions in commercial buildings. These solutions seamlessly combine regulatory compliance and energy performance, delivering results in the shortest time and at the most cost-effective rates.
Olivier Ricou, RC3I Director, comments: “We’re seeing an acceleration in BMS projects, driven by the implementation of the BACS and Tertiary Sector Decrees. By joining Genersys as the Grand Ouest agency, we are expanding and diversifying our expertise to become the single local point of contact for SMEs in the energy transition of their buildings, including both industrial facilities and service-sector premises. The new Agence Grand Ouest plans to add new staff to its team, and to achieve sales of around one million euros by 2024.
A new branch at the heart of Genersys’ ambitious ‘Turing 2023 – 2025’ development plan.
Launching the Grand Ouest branch is a key element of Genersys’ strategic development plan, ‘Turing 2023-2025,’ which focuses on three main priorities: expanding national coverage, introducing new offerings complementary to BMS, and leveraging Artificial Intelligence for commercial buildings.
To secure genuine customer proximity, Genersys plans to open agencies in the main French cities over the coming months, in addition to Angers, Toulouse, Lyon, Marseille, Lille and Paris.
In addition to integrating BMS solutions, Genersys, supported by the E’nergys Group’s extensive expertise, is expanding its capabilities in energy economy. A prime example is the E’nergys Manager offering, which provides step-by-step guidance for small and medium-sized businesses to reduce energy consumption, from third-party financing to implementing best practices.
Finally, with the backing of the E’nergys Group’s R&D department, Genersys is spearheading a cutting-edge BMS project that harnesses the power of Artificial Intelligence to provide real-time recommendations for optimizing building energy performance. This offer should be available in early 2025.
Louis Steyert, Managing Director of Genersys concludes: “This development plan reflects our ambition to become France’s leading independent integrator of energy performance solutions for commercial buildings by 2025, creating value for all stakeholders, from SMEs to local authorities. We plan to achieve sales of 15 million euros by 2025.”
