Through conversations with French cyclo-cross champion Amandine Fouquenet, her Technical Advisor Nicolas Martin, and Didier Torre, Managing Director of M’GYS, the realization became evident. Do you know M’GYS?
The company specializes in multi-brand maintenance of electrical installations, delivering premium service and personalized support to customers, no matter where they are. This fact presages a desire to federate and weave links in the company’s values.
Around 2 years ago, we began to think about the need to create a community to unite employees, customers and partners. It was also an opportunity to reflect the Group’s core values: commitment, perseverance and responsibility, with performance as the goal.
It’s often said that the people you meet shape your destiny. The adage is true, since it was an encounter that started it all.
I’ve always loved and practised sport: mountain biking, judo and more. After a cyclo-cross racer found himself without a partner, I thought maybe this was our chance. So we gave him a little push. I got personally involved and felt there was something to be done here.

Common features
What better way to unite teams than by forging new bonds through meetings, sporting and cultural events, and shared commitments? It was with this in mind that the first partnership project was born, bringing together Amandine Fouquenet, cyclo-cross and M’GYS TEAM.
You only have to dig a little deeper to realize how similar the two worlds really are. First of all, let’s talk about the values shared by both sides. When asked how she prepares for a race, the young cyclist provides a detailed yet precise list: first and foremost, physical training, but mental preparation is just as essential.
As a quality, perseverance is also widespread among M’GYS technical team members. Like racing cyclists, technicians are performance-driven, so they need to ensure a safe and uninterrupted power supply during maintenance operations to uphold customer satisfaction.
The choice of equipment is crucial in both professions: technicians must have the right tools to perform necessary maintenance, while cyclists require several bikes, each tailored and prepared for their races.
It’s a team effort above all:

Likewise, the maintenance technician is supported by a team of carefully selected experts, all working to ensure the mission’s success: delivering safe, timely, and cost-effective maintenance.
