Martin Villemot joins E’nergys to manage and supervise operations

With a unified brand, a business-specific structure, and its first subsidiary in Canada, E’nergys, which employs 300 people across 9 sites and generated €45 million in revenue in 2023, is poised to accelerate its national and international growth across its three core areas: energy efficiency, environmental transition, and decarbonization.With this goal in mind, E’nergys announces the appointment on September 4, 2024 of Martin Villemot to the newly created position of Director of Operations. Reporting to Thibault Sadouet, Deputy Managing Director of E’nergys, Martin’s mission is to oversee and optimize the five operational activities, with a focus on continuous performance improvement and fostering synergy to ensure both customer satisfaction and company growth.

A pivotal role in guaranteeing operational performance

Martin’s role is to implement and coordinate E’nergys’ new strategy across its five Operational Activity Divisions, focusing on energy efficiency in buildings and industry, automation, environmental quality in buildings (EQB), maintenance, and renewable energies, while ensuring optimal operational performance. Serving as a liaison between General Management and the Operational Departments, Martin is responsible for optimizing processes and practices to enhance communication and collaboration across departments, teams, and stakeholders. In addition, in collaboration with General Management and Marketing, he plays a key role in defining the strategic direction of the Operational Activity Departments, including offerings, organizational structure, and future skill development. Its priority projects are: mapping processes following its audit, implementing a common ERP system, and managing and integrating future M&As.

Career path

Martin Villemot, 51, holds a Master’s degree in Business Sciences and Organization from Université Louis Pasteur and an MBA from the Sorbonne Business School (2022). With over a decade of experience in Operations and General Management, he previously spent 20 years in the IT sector, making his way up from Senior Analyst at IBM in 2001 to CIO at the insurance company AFI ESCA in 2016. Significant experience in optimizing organization and operations includes a position as Chief Executive Officer of Burrus Technologies Group, a publisher of IT solutions dedicated to Insurance and Banking, from 2017 to 2020. Before joining E’nergys on September 4, Martin was Managing Director of Custy France, the digital partner for insurance professionals.
