E’nergys offers you three areas of expertise to support your energy transition.
As the service branch of the holding company, Socomec, E’nergys has taken root in the great history of this century-old family-owned industrial group.
When energy matters most, we adapt and innovate to remain by our customers’ side.
Joseph Siat, engineer, founds the “Société des Ateliers de Constructions Électromécaniques du Bas-Rhin” in Benfeld.
In the 1920s, electricity was dangerous. In response, Socomec develops a range of disconnection-related products (switches, circuit breakers, insulators, etc.).
From the 1950s onwards, electricity was unstable and of irregular quality. In response, Socomec launches a range of conversion products (source inverters, transformers, inverters, etc.).
After the oil crises, energy became increasingly expensive. Socomec expands its services and launches measurement and efficiency products (sensors, active energy meters, dataloggers, etc.).
In the 2010s, energy sources were diversifying and needs continued to multiply. To meet these new needs, Socomec develops storage systems.
As energy storage develops, Socomec creates E'nergys in 2014, a branch dedicated to services linked to the energy transition. Within the E'nergys branch, Agora is created, a connected services and cloud company for businesses. Athéo, an IT infrastructure and data engineering company, joined the E'nergys group. This becomes the foundation of the new E'nergys and Socomec digital services.
H3C Energies, a building energy performance consultancy, joins the E'nergys group.
Utilities Performance, an expert in industrial water and energy management, joins the E'nergys group. At the same time, E'nergys incorporates M'GYS, an expert in multi-brand maintenance of sensitive electrical networks.
Genersys, a company offering integrated energy solutions for buildings (automation, building management systems), joins the E'nergys group.
E'nergys founds a new subsidiary in 2021: E'nergys Solutions combines the expertise of the E'nergys group with specialized financing capabilities to support energy efficiency projects. The two design offices, UP and H3C, merge to become Impulse. E'nergys supports Athéo's partnership with a leading national ESN (Entreprise de Services du Numérique).
E'nergys acquires Domocore, a Toulouse-based BMS specialist to strengthen its skill set and accelerate the national expansion of Genersys, a leading player in BtoB household and building automation over the past fifteen years. E'nergys sets up in Canada and Quebec, notably with the incorporation of E'nergys Canada Holding.
E'nergys is celebrating its 10th anniversary and has already helped over 1,500 customers with their energy transition.
