Background.
With energy transitions accelerating and fossil fuel prices soaring, managing building heating and associated costs has become a significant challenge for the municipality of Haguenau—the second-largest town in the Bas-Rhin region and home to 35,000 residents. In 2016, confronted with a diverse range of heating systems and an increasing number of outdated sensors across various technologies, the town of Haguenau decided to fully modernize its BMS. The goal was to strike the optimal balance between thermal comfort and energy efficiency in its public buildings. For the town, this meant benefiting from the latest generation of BMS, guaranteeing high-performance remote control and autonomous supervision, with no need for subscription, and in complete security.

To achieve the optimal balance between thermal comfort and energy efficiency across 40 public buildings, the town of Haguenau enlisted our expertise to meet several key objectives:

Beyond delivering a technological solution that met Haguenau’s specifications, Genersys stood apart from the competition through its human-scale approach, which ensures close collaboration and responsiveness, as well as its comprehensive, turnkey service. This included everything from PLC installation to remote support and on-site technical intervention.
Selected in 2016, Genersys installed a latest-generation BMS that guarantees the town high-performance remote control and autonomous supervision, without subscription, and in total security. The project was delivered as a turnkey solution, encompassing everything from PLC installation to remote support and on-site technical interventions.
