Benfeld and Toulouse, September 7, 2023 – As the E’nergys Group’s expert in intelligent building and energy management, Genersys is poised to become one of France’s market leaders in Building Management Systems by 2025, fueled by the new BACS and Eco Energie Tertiaire regulations. The E’nergys Group has acquired Domocore, a Toulouse-based company specializing in home and building automation and a member of the Smart Buildings Alliance, to accelerate its national expansion and enhance its expertise. The Domocore design office and integrator now joins the E’nergys Group’s ecosystem of expertise and energy performance businesses, becoming Genersys’ dedicated South-West branch for BMS. This move aligns with both companies’ commitment to democratizing BMS, making industrial and commercial buildings, from offices and warehouses to retail spaces, more energy-efficient, in response to increasingly stringent regulations like the BACS and Eco Energie Tertiaire decrees.
Now a subsidiary of Genersys, after the purchase of 100% of its capital, Domocore joins a leading French player in sustainable performance, the E’nergys Group, SOCOMEC’s sister company. This French group blends the stability of a family-run SME with the agility of an evolving ecosystem of expertise in energy and water performance, as well as digital technologies. With a workforce of 240 and sales nearing 43 million euros, it is positioned for continued growth.

The acquisition of Domocore is a key component of Genersys’ strategic development plan, ‘Turing 2023-2025,’ which focuses on three main priorities: expanding national coverage, launching new BMS solutions, and integrating artificial intelligence for building control. With the addition of Domocore, Genersys now has a new office in the South West of France, ensuring closer proximity to customers. This also brings enhanced expertise in Smart Building technologies, including the KNX protocol, for a more interoperable, agile, secure, and user-friendly BMS management system.
