Background.
As the second-largest Merck facility worldwide, the Molsheim site in the Grande-Est region of France partnered with E’nergys to implement an energy management system and achieve ISO 50001 certification.
Goals
Driven by its vision of a more sustainable future, the Merck Group enlisted our services to achieve several key objectives:

The first step was to conduct an energy audit to take stock of energy consumption and suggest areas for improvement.
We then set up a measurement plan.
We then provided support for ISO 50001 certification, from defining the energy policy to obtaining certification.
