Before production begins, the Suntory Beverage & Food France La Courneuve plant must exert strict control over water quality throughout the entire treatment process. This guarantees impeccable microbiological standards and a consistent taste, using the most advanced methods available. The tap water used undergoes a number of successive and mandatory treatments before it reaches the beverage bottling machines. At every stage of the treatment process, the La Courneuve plant operates with state-of-the-art facilities and processes designed for precise control and management of water quality. Its physical, chemical, and bacteriological properties consistently meet the rigorous standards set by each brand. In autumn 2020, the La Courneuve plant enlisted a leading expert to conduct a comprehensive audit of its municipal water treatment cycle. The assessment focused on its facilities and processes, ensuring alignment with the Group’s highest standards.

In the winter of 2020, E’nergys conducted an in-depth on-site investigation of the water treatment cycle, examining every aspect from assessing equipment configurations to carrying out customized sampling campaigns. E’nergys carried out a structural review to detect equipment likely to be weak points in the chain. At the same time, the expert also completed numerous sampling and measurement campaigns, according to different operating conditions. Following a thorough field investigation, detailed equipment diagnostics, and in-depth data analysis, E’nergys delivered a comprehensive action plan to the La Courneuve plant. This included technical and organizational recommendations to ensure optimal water quality.
